FOUNDATION FOR UPHOLDING AGRICULTURE PRACTICES

1. Providing knowledge and services to small farmers.
FUAP work closely with small farmers to improve crop yield and income levels. We have a variety of small demonstration plots at our offices and associate stations with all kinds of vegetables and crops where visitors can visit and we offer basic and in-depth training on agriculture technology and techniques. These stations can be found in different regions in the country, such as Dar es salaam, Kagera, Pwani, Njombe, Mbeya, Geita and Tanga.

2. Providing knowledge and services to youth and women with regards to agriculture
We support a vast network of rural and urban schools in the Kagera region (at the moment, with a plan to expand). We work with local Secondary school, by starting agriculture clubs, We empower practicing agriculture by creating school gardens and different agriculture projects that can keep the youth engaged in practicing fruit production and horticulture to produce products that can be used for their own school benefits. We build centers in the schools, in this centers the local youth mainly women can come and receive education on different agriculture techniques and opportunity that can provide them with employment.
